I noticed an editorial in the Indy Star by Muzaffar Ahmad of
Fishers, a Muslim. Ahmad felt it
necessary to defend Islam following the recent violent riots in the Middle East
that has claimed American lives. An
amateur movie clip posted on YouTube has insulted and/or blasphemed Islam and Muhammad,
and thus enraged the “peaceful” Muslim masses. Despite the visual evidence of violence and
rage, Ahmad claims Islam is a religion of peace like so many ignorant
politicians spout in the media. Mr.
Ahmad also attempted to bolster his ridiculous assertion by stating Islam “does
not prescribe any punishment for blasphemy.”
Either Ahmad is a dumb Muslim that does not read the Qur’an or Hadith,
or he is doing what Muhammad encouraged all Muslims to do….LIE. Lying is perfectly acceptable in the Muslim
faith as long as the cause of Allah is advanced. (Hadith Vol.5, Book 59,
#369) It appears Muslims and our
progressive liberals have similar tactics in spreading their religions.
Islam DOES prescribe punishment for blasphemy, and is
exemplified by the many nations ruled by Sharia Law, which includes Pakistan, that
have codified this punishment. "Then, when the sacred months have
passed, slay the idolaters wherever ye find them, and take them (captive), and
besiege them, and prepare for them each ambush. But if they repent and
establish worship and pay the poor-due, then leave their way free. Lo! Allah is
Forgiving, Merciful," (Quran 9:5). This sounds like
a prescription of death for those who oppose Islam, not a religion of “peace.”
Muzaffar Ahmad also stated, “Islam protects freedom of
speech, and the Prophet Muhammad’s example proves this, as he never punished
those who blasphemed against him or Islam.”
This statement is so outlandish that I thought Ahmad was reciting a
joke. If Ahmad truly believes what he
writes, then I encourage him to test his assertion. Travel to Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Iran, Iraq,
Afghanistan, Indonesia, Syria, Egypt (name any Muslim nation) and stand in the
public square while you verbally deny Allah as the true god and proclaim your acceptance
of Christ. Any guesses as to what would
happen to him? Would a peaceful crowd of
Muslims approach and reason with him as to his incorrect decision? Would Muslims ask Ahmad if they could pray
for him? I will pay for Ahmad’s plane ticket
and I’ll have my Christian church pray for his safety while the Muslims prey on
him. Muslims in the Middle East are
merely doing what Muhammad instructed them to do.
The Bible tells us that we can discern true ministers of the
Gospel versus false teachers by the fruit produced in their lives (love, joy,
peace, patience, kindness, gentleness, self-control, faithfulness, and
goodness). Matthew 7:16, Galatians
5:22. The only thing produced by Muslim
nations that resembles fruit is the severed heads of those who blaspheme and
deny Muhammad and Allah. I suppose Muslims
do produce plenty of melons. The fruit
produced by Islam is exactly what Muhammad desired, and if you don’t believe
me, read what is written in the Qur’an and Hadith; literal death to unbelievers
and idolaters.
Americans might wonder “why is Islam more peaceful as
practiced in the United States as opposed to foreign nations?” Our nation’s laws are based on Christian
principles, and true Muslims would never be permitted to practice their
religion of death and destruction; unless the 9th Federal Circuit Court
and various liberals have their way. Most Muslims are peaceful simply because they
are bad Muslims and don’t live-out their religion the way Muhammad prescribed. Certainly the same could be said of most
Christians, who don’t live their lives in a manner pleasing to Christ; the
obvious difference being Christians are expected to produce the “fruit of The
Spirit” and not the melons of infidels.
Finally, I can prove Islam encourages violence, death and
destruction. There is only one
guaranteed way to be saved and go to heaven for a Muslim, and that’s to die for
Allah in a Jihad. Muslims believe at the
end of their life Allah weighs the “good deeds” versus the “bad deeds.” If the “good” outweighs the “bad” Allah MAY
let you into heaven; not “WILL”, but “MAY”!
It is not possible for any Muslim to know where his balance of “deeds”
stands with Allah; just ask one and see what he or she says. They will tell you, “It’s all in Allah’s hands.” Therefore, if a Muslim cannot be certain of
his salvation in regards to his good works, he or she must resort to a
guaranteed prescription for heaven, JIHAD for Allah.
“If I don’t Jihad (wage war) for Allah I might not go to
heaven, but if I “smite the necks” of those who oppose Allah I am saved!” How PEACEFUL!
"Let those fight in the cause of Allah Who sell the
life of this world for the hereafter. To him who fighteth in the cause of
Allah,- whether he is slain or gets victory - Soon shall We give him a reward
of great (value)." (4:74, Yusifali).
"Allah's Apostle said, "Allah guarantees (to the
person who carries out Jihad in His Cause and nothing compelled him to go out
but Jihad in His Cause and the belief in His Word) that He will either admit
him into Paradise (Martyrdom) or return him with reward or booty he has earned
to his residence from where he went out," (Hadith Vol. 9, Book 93, #
555).
Then, he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found)
heavy, 7Will be in a life of good pleasure and satisfaction. 8
But he whose balance (of good deeds) will be (found) light,- 9Will
have his home in a (bottomless) Pit. (Surah 101:6-9)
