“Politics, it seems to me, for years, or all too long, has been
concerned with right or left instead of right or wrong.” – Richard Armour
I agree with the previous quote with one caveat, there must be a
defined “right and wrong” as prescribed by someone who is morally uncontaminated.
The infection of moral relativism has
resulted in the destruction of basic truth.
No more can a politician claim they are on the “right” side of an
argument, because they are quickly reminded by our liberal fools that their
argument is based on “their own truth” and not necessarily somebody else’s
truth. What a mess this has created in
America.
Our politicians and opinionators are no longer held to account for
what they say, unless of course they are conservative Christians. Truth is deemed true only if it comes from
the mouth of a self-described tolerant liberal.
Biblical truth is rarely considered by many politicians; rather the
DNC talking points dominate modern truth.
How else can an August 26th, 2012 tweet from a twice divorced
washed-up actress like Ellin Barkin be considered tolerant and/or
open-minded? She said, “C’mon
Isaac! Wash every pro-life,
anti-education, anti-woman, xenophobic, gay bashing, racist SOB right into the
ocean.”
Of course Barkin’s tweet is untrue and ignorant, but more
troubling is the now morally acceptable tactic she used to ridicule and encourage
the destruction of conservative Christians; and yet it’s still NOT morally repugnant
to destroy babies? Truth and civility is
no longer important in politics because liberals have successfully removed this
convicting obstacle; which is very convenient when you consider their desire to
propagate pro-abortion, pro-gay and big government agendas. The truth of the matter is that any method used
to achieve the liberal agenda is fine, because their objectives are sacred in
the progressive circles of power and influence; and they don’t care how immoral
the applied method. Whereas Christians also
consider their objectives sacred, but the method must be based in the objective
moral truth found in the Bible. I am
perfectly content to let Barkin and other ignorant liberals spew their hatred
and absurdities because they prove their hearts and motives each and every time
they open their mouths. I pray for the
day when the majority of people in our country realize the folly of allowing
liberals to define truth by their own standards. Hopefully this day comes before Barkin Dog’s Hurricane
sits and spins over our country.
“If God had been a Liberal there wouldn’t have been Ten Commandments, there would have been Ten Suggestions.” – Malcolm Bradbury
